The RF6000 is a multi-directional roller guide for the PIERCE PS6000 planetary recovery winch. Zinc-plated rollers handle off-axis pulls — when the load isn't directly in line with the winch, the guide rollers protect the wire rope and the drum.
Why use a roller guide instead of a fairlead?
Roller guides win for off-axis pulls where the rope angle changes during the pull. Each roller pivots independently, so the rope rides smoothly regardless of pull direction. A flat fairlead is simpler but only handles narrow-angle pulls cleanly. For recovery work, the roller guide is the right answer.
