The PS654-8EMK is the higher-capacity version of the 7,500 lb 110V worm gear winch — 11,000 lb pulling capacity from the same 1.5 HP motor by way of a deeper 728.5:1 gear reduction. Compact 8 in drum. Same mechanically self-locking worm-gear architecture as the rest of the PS654-E line.

Mechanical advantage. The 728.5:1 reduction (vs. 460:1 in the standard PS654-EK) trades a turn of the drum for more turns of the motor — each pound of motor torque multiplies into more pounds of pulling force at the rope.
