The PSHV10000 is the fastest winch in the Pierce hydraulic recovery line — 46 fpm at 15.9 GPM, more than 50% faster than any other hydraulic in the lineup. 10,000 lb pulling capacity from a 5.9 in³ motor at 2,175 PSI, with a 2-stage planetary gearset and rotating ring-gear clutch for free-spool payout.
When does the 10K hydraulic make sense?
Light- to medium-duty recovery jobs where speed matters more than maximum capacity — light tow trucks, off-road recovery rigs, service trucks pulling stuck vehicles. The 46 fpm line speed cuts cycle time on every recovery. Free-spool is a manual operation at the winch (rotating ring-gear lever) — simpler than the air-spool clutch on the heavy-duty PSHDH line, with no onboard air supply required.
