The PSHDH50000 is the top of the Pierce hydraulic recovery line — 50,000 lb pulling capacity from a 15.4 in³ motor at 2,900 PSI. Larger motor displacement, higher operating pressure, and a heavier bolt pattern than any other PSHDH, with the air-spool output-shaft clutch and cast housings of the rest of the heavy-duty line.

What jobs does the 50K handle that a 30K won't?

Heavy wrecker work, oil field recovery, industrial equipment extraction, and any job where the load is too heavy for a 30K to recover safely. Pulling capacity scales linearly, but cable capacity scales by spec: ⅞ in wire rope at 1,770 N/mm² (EIPS) grade with a 305 kN minimum breaking strength is mandatory for SAE J706 rating at this capacity.
