- Available only in the contiguous US (AK and HI excluded)
- Not to be combined with other discounts, pricing breaks, or wholesale customer pricing unless otherwise specified.
- Customers with wholesale or standard discount pricing may not be eligible.
LTL Freight Orders
- The order subtotal of products is over $99.
- Up to a $150 Freight Credit is given against shipping costs.
- Customers with wholesale or standard discount pricing may not be eligible.
- Freight Orders to HI, AK, or international will need a spot quote from us. Often, it is best to have us ship to a freight forwarder in the lower 48 states that you typically work with.
Shipping
In-Stock, non-freight items usually ship the same day if ordered before 12 PM, CST. We are open and ship Monday through Friday. Orders received on weekends and holidays are shipped the following business day. *We do our absolute best to ship your products on the same day as your order. Delays are possible on any given day*
All items shipped must be sent to a physical address and cannot be delivered to PO boxes. If a PO box address is submitted without a physical address, your order may be delayed or canceled.
Website orders may be held for additional address verification or additional shipping information needed. We will attempt to contact you for a period not exceeding one (1) week by phone and email, at which time, if your address cannot be verified or additional information is not received, Pierce will cancel the order, and the payment will be returned.
If an item you order is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you with the next earliest shipping date. You can choose to wait for the item or cancel it from your order.
Orders shipped via expedited shipping must be placed by 12:00 PM CST Monday through Friday for next-day delivery. Anything ordered to a business location on a Friday would be delivered on the next business day (Monday).
If an item/order is oversized or exceeds 150 lbs., it will ship via LTL freight truck.
LTL Orders
Request a Call.
Do you need a call before this shipment is delivered? (Are you always home to accept pallets whenever they deliver?)
Residential or Business?
Business - You must have a forklift or a dock to unload this pallet. (Tractor or skid steer can substitute for a forklift ONLY IF actual pallet forks are on equipment)
Residential – If you do not meet the above criteria and requirements choose residential
Waiting for LTL Shipment
Expect and accept any calls from the freight carrier to schedule delivery.
Upon LTL Delivery:
- Upon delivery, check the driver’s delivery receipt for the correct name, delivery location, etc.
- Inspect all boxes, pallets, and products for any signs of damage or mishandling. Noting any damage directly to the delivery receipt – be specific.
- Do not sign without inspecting and annotating any issues.
- Use your cell phone to video or take photos to document any damage.
- Check/Inspect all sides of the shipment and look for damage to the shrink wrap, tape, boxes/pallet.
- If the shipment is damaged, DO NOT refuse delivery. Document the damage thoroughly and immediately contact the shipper (Pierce Arrow Inc.) and carrier.
- If an LTL shipment is refused before contacting PIERCE for a return, return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund once the product is returned to PIERCE.
- If an LTL shipment is signed for “as is” and no damage is notated, even though there is damage to the outside of the product wrapping and boxes, the customer assumes responsibility for all damages and costs incurred to replace or fix damaged products.
- PIERCE is not liable for damage to products that are signed for without notated damage and the costs that ensue in replacing the damaged products.
Delivery Estimates
The following map is from FedEx's website showing estimated delivery times under normal operating conditions. These dates are not guaranteed but will provide an idea of how long parcel shipments may take for delivery. LTL shipments will vary. This chart is not relevant for such shipments.
