The PIERCE 1/2" winch cable boasts an impressive breaking strength of 21,600 lbs. Each cable assembly comes equipped with a heavy-duty thimble featuring a safety swivel hook, as well as a compressed splicing sleeve for added safety.
Overall the cable seems great for the price and has been working well!
Cable quality seems very good and came undamaged etc. My only suggestion is that the hook could be a little larger. I'm using this with a Switch-N-Go system, and I had to remove the safety clip for the hook to allow it to fit around the pin. But it does work. Also, note that the crimp where the hook is attached is significantly longer than the original one I had. I have about 1" of room before the hook crimp would be wound onto the drum.

Awesome cables
These are great cables. We use these cables on our rollback heavey haul trailer This will be our 3rd cable we have used. If I had a complaint. It would be something we are possibly doing wrong. The cable seems to get flat spots however it had yet to impede the ability of the cable. At least for us.

Conditions don't always allow for perfect operation all the time - but keeping the cable consistently free and unobstructed should help.
