The PLB1020M is a lightweight 6,000 lb working load limit snatch block. Doubles winch pulling capacity and reduces motor strain. Sized for wire rope up to 5/16 in — fits the lighter winch classes (PS6000 and similar) where the 8K and 10K blocks are oversized.
How much pulling power does a snatch block actually add?
A single snatch block doubles your effective pulling capacity — a 6,000 lb winch with a single-block rig pulls a 12,000 lb load (minus rigging losses). Two blocks triple it. The block also reduces the amp draw on a 12V winch motor, which matters on a stock automotive electrical system at full pull.

For higher capacity, see the 8,000 lb Snatch Block or 10,000 lb Snatch Block. For lighter-duty 4K work, see the 4,000 lb Snatch Block.
