The PSCTPS is a spring-loaded wire rope tensioner for PIERCE planetary recovery winches in the 9K–20K range — PS9000, PS12000, and PS20000. Prolongs cable life by reducing kinks and flat spots, and provides constant tension against the drum to eliminate cable backlash and bird-nesting.
Why doesn't this fit the PS6000?
The PS6000 uses a different drum size and frame profile than the PS9000-PS20000 line, so the PSCTPS doesn't seat correctly on it. The PSCTPS is sized specifically for the larger 8 in drum width found on the 9K-and-up planetary winches. For the PS6000, contact us about a fitment option.
