The P045S is a traditional-style snatch block with a 4,000 lb working load limit and an integrated safety swivel hook. Sheave grooved for wire rope up to 3/8 in. Screw-out hook pin lets cable be inserted by swiveling a side plate; all parts retained by snap rings to prevent loss in the field.
When is the 4,000 lb size enough?
Light-duty pulls where the winch itself is under 8K capacity. Doubling a 4K winch via this snatch block gives you 8K effective pulling power. For bigger winches, step up to the 8K (P045) or 10K (PLB1030B) blocks — the smaller block isn't rated for the higher loads.
