The Lodar external aerial comes with a 1 meter (3 ft.) coaxial cable and is ideal for receivers located inside a vehicle's cab or a toolbox. It's especially useful in extremely cold conditions where signal degradation can be an issue. This aerial helps to maintain the system's reception and its maximum operational range, but it does not increase the range itself.
