The PS654-8EKSD is the split-drum version of the 7,500 lb 110V industrial worm gear winch — the drum is divided into two independent halves, each running its own ⅜ in × 50 ft cable. Pull two anchor points at once, balance a load between two attachment points, or run two separate jobs from one winch.

What's a split drum for, and when do I need one?

Two cables, one motor, one mount. Common uses: dual-cable lifts where balance matters (a long load picked up at both ends), V-shaped pulls where the cables converge at a single load, or any setup that would otherwise need two separate winches.
