The PSHDH30000NDM is the simplest, most compact 30,000 lb hydraulic recovery winch in the Pierce line — narrow drum for tight mounting, manual clutch so no air system is required. Same 9.5 in³ motor and 41:1 gear ratio as every other PSHDH 30K, just stripped to its smallest, simplest form.
Who is the PSHDH30000NDM for?
Service trucks and recovery rigs that need 30K pulling capacity but can't accommodate the long-drum footprint and don't have an onboard air supply. Common applications: light- to medium-duty wreckers, off-road recovery vehicles, mobile service trucks, and equipment retrofits replacing an older narrow-drum manual winch.

- 16 fpm max line speed
- Output-shaft disengaged clutch — manual lever, no air system needed
- Narrow drum — compact mounting footprint

- Cast housings with steel drum
- Recommended wire rope: ⅝ in × 141 ft (1,960 N/mm² grade, 179 kN minimum breaking strength)

- Pierce SKU PSHDH30000NDM — built to order
For air-clutch operation in the same narrow footprint, see the 30,000 lb Hydraulic Recovery Winch (Narrow Drum, Air). For more rope capacity with the same manual clutch, see the Long Drum, Manual. Stepping down to 20,000 lb: 20,000 lb Hydraulic Recovery Winch.
⚠️ Never use a winch for lifting or moving people. Pulling and recovery use only.
