Thank you for your review! The 35' range limit you are experiencing indicates something isn't working as it should. There are several things that can cause this and I'll list out here the most common causes in descending order.

- The biggest factor can be the mounting placement of the receiver itself. If it is in a very thick toolbox or behind a bunch of power cables, etc, it is possible it is experiencing interference.
- The transmitter having low batteries can also be a common issue, but it sounds like you can rule that one out since this is the second transmitter.
- Cold weather can cause issues but it would need to be very cold to cut the range more than half like you are experiencing? Unless you are in Antartica this is probably not the case either.
- It could be that there is another device on the truck itself operating on the 418Mhz band? Rarely some other products will operate on the same licensed band but that is not common.

Hopefully these can help resolve what is happening, but if they don't, reach out to us. We can work on evaluating the complete system for any repair/replacement under warranty that might be needed.
