Sooo, I bought myself a Pierce winch in 1993 for my birthday. In that time, I had to replace the motor two times. The first time I had a starter shop in Austin rebuild the motor and was going to do the same this time. Their estimate was 260.00 but they couldn't get to it for a week or so.
While I was waiting I emailed Pierce. They got right back to me and answered all my questions. (Both of them!) Brand new motor was about 150.00 and they shipped it right out. Install took 30 minutes because the neighbor lady kept coming over and asking me questions, haha.
