Complete wireless air actuator control system - includes the IP handheld transmitter and a receiver with the pneumatic solenoid valves built into the box, coded together and ready to wire to your equipment. Operates 8 functions on the Lodar 9 Series.

The 8 Function Lodar IP Wireless Air System (92258-8) gives you 8-function wireless control with a 150 ft (45 m) range on the 433 MHz band. Compressed air is plumbed into the receiver box; the solenoid valves inside switch it to the output ports to drive your air cylinders directly - there is no separate external valve bank. Actuators are included. It includes a master output - an additional output that energizes whenever any function is operated, for equipment that has to run alongside the controls (a hydraulic power unit during a lift, or a beacon while winching).

Check your valve linkage before ordering. The actuators bolt onto the solid control rods your valve levers connect to, so you need clearance to mount them. A system with actuators included works only with solid "bang-bang" valve rods - not with valves operated by flexible cables or cords. If your valves are cable-operated, contact us.

Air supply. The air cylinders run on 21-120 psi (135 psi maximum); 80-100 psi is the ideal operating range. Plumb the system into a regulated air supply in that range.

How do I know this system fits my equipment?

Match the function count to the number of outputs you need to operate - 8 here - and confirm your power supply: this system runs on 12/24V DC. The FET receiver switches up to 10 A per output. Choose it when your functions draw more than the 5 A a relay receiver handles. The transmitter and receiver ship coded to each other, so the system works out of the box.

What is a Lodar air actuator, and how is it used with a control rod?
A Lodar air actuator is a pneumatic cylinder used in wireless or remote control systems to convert an air signal into linear motion. It’s typically used to operate a control rod or lever (e.g. for valves, switches, linkages) without manual intervention. In setups with a control rod, the actuator is mounted adjacent to or above the rod such that its push/pull motion aligns with the rod’s direction of travel. The actuator’s output end is linked to the rod (often via a clevis or bracket) to impart motion.

For the first 2 years Warranty is unlimited.
  • During that period, your Distributor (in the USA, our Service Department) will repair or replace free of charge, at their discretion, any product that is proved to be faulty.
  • The Warranty period is taken from the date the goods leave our factory, although we will accept a later date if the Distributor can confirm date of purchase.
For the following 3 years Warranty is pro-rated.
  • During that period, your Distributor will replace with a new product at a discounted price.
  • These prices are set by each Distributor.
  • The Warranty period is taken from the date the goods leave our factory, although we will accept a later date if the Distributor can confirm date of purchase.
Conditions
  • We must receive back either an individual Transmitter or both Transmitter and Receiver, at your cost.
  • We will not accept individual Receivers. Always send both transmitter and receiver unless otherwise requested.
  • Discounted products will carry a further 2-year unlimited warranty. After 5 years Lodar cannot be repaired and will be scrapped.
  • Lodar 8000 Series are now totally out of warranty and are not covered.
  • Call us to explain the problem, making sure you have both the model number and the serial number on hand. More often than not, we can resolve the matter over the phone.
