Complete wireless air actuator control system - includes the Standard handheld transmitter and a receiver with the pneumatic solenoid valves built into the box, coded together and ready to wire to your equipment. Operates 2 functions on the Lodar 9 Series.
The 2 Function Lodar Standard Wireless Air System (92170) gives you 2-function wireless control with a 150 ft (45 m) range. Compressed air is plumbed into the receiver box; the solenoid valves inside switch it to the output ports to drive your air cylinders directly - there is no separate external valve bank. Actuators are not included - pair with your own. This version has no master output. Choose a master-output model if you need an extra output that fires alongside every function - for example, an HPU that must run during a lift.
Check your valve linkage. This system's receiver drives air actuators that bolt onto the solid control rods your valve levers connect to. Confirm you have clearance to mount actuators and that your valves use solid "bang-bang" rods, not flexible cables. Actuators are not included.
Air supply. The air cylinders run on 21-120 psi (135 psi maximum); 80-100 psi is the ideal operating range. Plumb the system into a regulated air supply in that range.
Match the function count to the number of outputs you need to operate - 2 here - and confirm your power supply: this system runs on 12/24V DC. Each FET output is rated to 10 A, with the system rated to 15 A total across all outputs. Run several heavy functions at once and the combined draw can reach that 15 A ceiling, where the overload protection trips to protect the board. Solid-state switching means there are no mechanical relay contacts to wear or arc. It is the current standard across the Lodar line — choose it for functions that draw more than the 5 A per output a mechanical relay handles. The transmitter and receiver ship coded to each other, so the system works out of the box.
Lodar 9 Series parts carry a trailing match code. This system ships as the -8 (the most common). If you are adding to or replacing parts in an existing Lodar system coded anything other than -8, contact us so the units pair correctly.
Want a different form of the same 2-function Lodar system? Compare the 2 Function Lodar Stainless IP Wireless System or 2 Function Lodar Standard Wireless System. Replacement handsets and receivers are sold separately.
