The PSEAL Seal and Gasket Kit is the complete service-rebuild seal set for PIERCE PS654 and PSW654 series worm gear winches. Six pieces total: main gasket, transfer gasket, three worm gaskets, main shaft seal, motor seal, and worm seal. The right pack for a clean teardown-and-reseal service.
When should I rebuild the seals on a 654-series winch?
When you see oil weeping from the case at the motor flange, the worm gear cover, or the main shaft. Once oil starts coming out, contamination starts coming in — and a winch run on contaminated oil wears out fast. Reseal at the first sign of leakage, or as preventive service every few seasons of heavy use.
