The PLB1030B is a 10,000 lb working load limit snatch block — the heavy-duty option in the PIERCE snatch block line. 10 in block with a 5 in sheave, 1 in pin, and 3 in attachment hole. No hook included; attaches via the 3 in hole.

What does a snatch block do for a winch?

It doubles your winch's pulling capacity by routing the cable through a moving pulley — half the load on the cable, half the strain on the motor, twice the pulling power at the load. Also lets you change pull direction (run the cable around a corner). Essential for stuck-vehicle recoveries beyond a single-line pull.

  • 10,000 lb working load limit (WLL)
  • 10 in block, 5 in sheave
  • 1 in pin, 3 in attachment hole
  • For 3/8 in winch cable
  • Grease zerk for easy maintenance
  • No hook — attach via the 3 in hole
  • Pierce SKU PLB1030B — typically in stock

For lighter-duty options, see the 8,000 lb Snatch Block or 6,000 lb Snatch Block. For a version with a swivel hook included, see the 8,000 lb Snatch Block with Safety Swivel Hook.

⚠️ Never use a winch for lifting or moving people. Pulling and recovery use only.
