Why did my Cattle Siren Blow the Fuse?

This season we’ve received several calls about the cattle siren. Customers are calling to ask, “why did my cattle siren blow the fuse?”

What we’re finding is this: The issue isn’t the siren, but the fuse itself.

The PIERCE cattle siren can blow a 10 amp fuse and nothing larger.

We recommend a 40 amp fuse. If you purchased the siren after September 2016, the PIERCE sirens will come with a 40 amp fuse in the box. The PHCK wiring kit also comes with the correct fuse.
