Why did my Cattle Siren Blow the Fuse?

by The PIERCE Team on 1/2/17 8:12 PM

cattle_sirens_two.jpgThis season we've received several calls about the cattle siren. Customers are calling to ask, "why did my cattle siren blow the fuse?"

What we're finding is this: The issue isn't the siren, but the fuse itself.

The PIERCE cattle siren can blow a 10 amp fuse and nothing larger.

We recommend a 40 amp fuse. If you purchased the siren after September 2016, the PIERCE sirens will come with a 40 amp fuse in the box. The PHCK wiring kit also comes with a the correct fuse.
